This site is an independent editorial resource that reviews a broker for readers in Nigeria. It is not the broker, it is not connected to the broker, and it does not offer financial services, open accounts, take deposits or give advice. Because we ask you to trust what you read here, we take on a matching obligation: to tell you plainly what we do with information about you, to collect as little of it as we can, and to keep it only as long as we need it.
This policy explains that obligation in the order a reader usually meets it. It applies to everyone who visits the site, whether you read one page or return often, and it applies only to this site. Anything you do on the broker's own website is governed by that site's policy, not by this one, and we have no control over it.
What do you collect about me, and what do you not collect?
We collect what your browser sends when it requests a page, such as the type of device and browser, the pages you open, the time of your visit and a rough location derived from your network address. If you use the contact form on this site, we receive what you choose to type into it, including your name and the route you give us to reply.
We do not collect your trading account details, your deposits, your identity documents, your card numbers or your bank information. We do not ask for them and you should not send them. We do not buy personal data from other companies, and we do not build profiles of individual readers for sale.
We also do not require you to register, log in or hand over personal details to read the reviews. Reading the site is possible without telling us who you are.
Who sees my information, and who never gets it?
A small number of service providers see limited information because the site cannot run without them: the company that hosts the servers, the provider that measures traffic, and the provider that delivers the contact form to us. They act on our instructions and are not allowed to use the information for their own purposes.
We may disclose information if the law clearly requires it, or to protect the site against abuse, but we do so only to the extent necessary. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not rent it, trade it or hand it to advertisers or data brokers. We do not pass reader information to the broker reviewed on this site, and the broker has no access to our records.
How long do you keep my information?
Traffic records are kept in a form that identifies individual visitors only for as long as needed to understand how the site is used, and then reduced to aggregated figures or deleted. Contact form messages are kept for as long as it takes to answer them and to keep a record of the exchange, after which they are removed unless we are required to hold them longer.
When a retention period ends, the information is deleted or anonymised so that it no longer relates to you. We review what we hold at intervals rather than keeping everything indefinitely by default.
On what legal basis do you process my information?
Where the law requires a stated basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving an editorial site, on your consent where you choose to send us a message or accept measurement, and on legal obligation where a record must be kept. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect what was done before.
We process only what is needed for these purposes. We do not use your information for automated decisions that affect your rights, and we do not use it to offer you financial products.
What rights do I have, and how do I use them?
You may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct anything wrong, ask us to delete it, or ask us to restrict or stop processing it. You may also object to processing based on our legitimate interest. These rights are not absolute, and we may need to keep something where the law requires it, but we will explain if that happens.
To use any of these rights, write to us through the contact form on this site and describe what you want. We will respond within the period the applicable law allows. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the data protection authority in your country.
We also measure traffic in aggregate to understand which pages are useful. These figures are statistical and are not used to single you out, and where measurement requires consent you can refuse it without losing access to the reviews.
